We didn’t come to Asia. Asia came to us -as a professional opportunity. Seven years later, I am extremely grateful about all the unexpected -these things that weren’t planned and brought us where we’ve been. It’s been a rich and fabulous journey, with a myriad of incredible adventures -here is our Top 20 experiences in Asia.

I've heard so much about the Phare Circus, I couldn't wait to see it. After a year in Hong Kong Island's madness, we decided to move before we get crazy. And we discovered the other Hong Kong. For those who follow me on Instagram, you've seen the photos of my afternoons on desert beaches and my running sessions along the sea, looking at the sunset. Yes, Lantau is kinda cool. Real escape from the crowds of the city in only a few minutes ferry or MTR, Lantau will surprise you by its authenticity. Forget about Ngong Ping and explore the real beauty of Lantau Island.

Like most big cities, Hong Kong is a great destination for food lovers. This cities offers and incredible range of options in terms of restaurants and street food -from local Chinese dishes to Indian... But let's keep it local! Of course that list could be much longer, but I'll spare you the snake soup and stinky tofu and focus on the best Hong Kong specialities. Ready?

My trip in Cambodia appeared to be one of the most fantastic discoveries I've had the chance to make in Southeast Asia. There are many reasons to love Cambodia -the atmosphere is very chilled out, the scenery astonishing, the food delicious and the history of the country fascinating...

Our trip in Yunnan took us into the China of our dreams. If you ask me what made it so wonderful, I won't be able to answer with a straight answer. There are so many reasons, going from the adventure feel to the amazing local food...

With an elevation of 3.726m, Mt Rinjani is the 2nd highest volcano in Indonesia. The journey to the summit and back requires a sense of adventure and a serious level of physical fitness... Ready for a new adventure?

Planning our ski trip in Honshu wasn't easy, as there are more than 500 ski resorts to choose from! Talking about being spoiled when skiing in Japan... With only 10 days on the road, we choose to stay in 3 different places and move from there: Minakami, Nozawaonsen and Myoko... 

With almost 300 kms of tramping and countless smaller tracks, the range of options for hiking is so wide it can even be hard to chose sometimes. Looping around the south of the island, the 70 km-long Lantau Trail offers stunning panoramic views of the offshore islands...

With an average annual snowfall of 15 meters, it's clear why Hokkaido is known as one of the hottest ski destinations in the world. Located in northern Japan, the island gets the cold air from Siberia across the Sea of Japan, which results in the ski resorts being absolutely DUMPED with dry powder. 

I never thought I would find myself hiking to the center of an active volcano at 2 am in the morning fighting off clouds of suffocating volcanic gasses for the sake of seeing some blue flames... But believe it or not, the unique experience makes it worth it. 

Some will say Angkor Wat the most beautiful temple in Angkor. I agree on one thing: it's the biggest, probably the most impressive in terms of architecture. But for me, things got really interesting when I found myself lost in a temple, with no noise but singing birds and the wind blowing the trees leaves.

I've heard there are more foxes than people during summer in Hokkaido -it kinds of reminds me another place I fell in love with a few years ago. If you dream about an escape in the countryside with fresh air, outdoors and excellent Japanese food, well you're in for a treat...
