They've named their adventure Expedition Happiness -and we've got no trouble figuring out why. If nowadays, converting a bus into a mobile home is nothing new, these two took the concept to the next level.

Planning our ski trip in Honshu wasn't easy, as there are more than 500 ski resorts to choose from! Talking about being spoiled when skiing in Japan... With only 10 days on the road, we choose to stay in 3 different places and move from there: Minakami, Nozawaonsen and Myoko...

Jozankei is a hot spring village lost in Shikotsu-Toya National Park, an hour from Sapporo. In winter, the atmosphere is particularly special, as the onsen's hot steam blowing out of the ground contrasts with the snow-covered landscape. In this very town, we've lived one of the most beautiful experiences since we started traveling 4 years ago...

Day after day in the season, the snow is getting deeper, the landscapes whiter and the city increasingly beautiful with her thick white coat. Sapporo is the most convenient destination for a 4 days trip in Hokkaido: obviously for the snow, plus a great food scene, nightlife and plenty to do.

First stop of our Hokkaido ski trip: Otaru, Kiroro and Kokusai! Not only the views are stunning and the Japanese atmosphere unique, but the powder in Hokkaido is champagne of the finest type, being not only one of the deepest but also the liiightest in the world! A detail that change my love for snowboard to addiction.

Brittany and Normandy are two beautiful regions located Northwestern France, where landscapes are of rolling green fields, farmhouses and white chalk cliffs. History is in abundance there, as is art, culture -not to mention the food... 

To all those who have been asking me why - this question I can hardly find words to answer to. To all those who can't understand why in the hell would I leave everything behind, including people I love the most, to go on a solo road trip. And why this trip never ended.

From Java to Sulawesi, I've seen wonders I could hardly believe they actually exist. Either you're going for a couple of weeks or for a long term trip, I hope you'll enjoy Indonesia as much as I did -and I hope this post will help you decide your itinerary. 

New Zealand was my very first solo trip. You know, the kind that changes your lifestyle forever. That kind. The particularity of this country is that I loved every single place I've explored. So at the end, my only exigency was to discover. Anything.

17 days, 1852kms, 1 hug with a koala, 2 huge spiders into the car, 4 flights, 2 vans, 5 friends, 1 jump from an airplane, 1 35$ fine, 29 suicidal stupid kangaroos, 1 crocodile pie and 1 GPS with no sense of direction. I kept the best for the end - a video of our trip to wrap up this post.

The moment I step on the land of the long white cloud & the 60 millions sheep, I immediately fall in love with the place. I lived some of the most terrific experiences ever, there. I had six beautiful months to enjoy every recesses of the country. Was it enough? Of course not. But that's ok, it gives me an perfect excuse to plan another trip there. It's on the list.
